Serving, New Jersey, New York, Boston, Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Metro DC area

SUE -  is a professional multi-cultural women's entrepreneurial organization which provides a platform to share ideas, market and meet other entrepreneurs to grow their businesses.   The organization's purpose is to also embrace an empowering kindred spirit that promotes achievements, fosters success, and celebrates unity.

As a SUE member it is our objective to introduce, embrace and support various visions - missions through our sisterhood.   We also act as a liaison/mentor for young women with a vision and plan to enter entrepreneurship.

In addition, we have partnered with many local organizations to lobby and advocate for women own businesses on a local, state and federal level.

SBA Elevates Women-Owned Small Businesses

Did you know that just three decades ago, women were still required to have a male cosigner on a loan?

While women business owners still face some barriers and challenges, tremendous inroads have been made in the struggle for equal rights and access to opportunity. The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is proud to have played a role in supporting women entrepreneurs and helping to enable women-owned businesses to grow at twice the rate of all businesses nationwide.

Did You Know.

Did YOU KNOW. Instead of retiring, many baby boomers are choosing entrepreneurship.  A recent Kaufmann Foundation report found that baby boomers are twice as likely to start a new business compared to millennials. In an effort to assist those that plan to start a business within the coming days, weeks, months or years, SmallBizTrends.com has developed a list of the top 50 cities for Baby Boomer Entrepreneurs based on the specific demographic.

Of the top ten cities, four are from the Golden State with two cities being from Tennessee.
Before the list is revealed let’s look at how the list was developed. As reported by SmallBizTrends.com, “Lending Tree compared 50 of the largest metropolitan statistical areas (“MSAs”). A score of 100 points was available for each city based on three criteria. They were median business income for boomers, average (mean) business income for boomers, and the percentage of businesses founded in the last five years that were started by boomers.”
