According to the SBA there are currently 11.6 Million Women -Owned Businesses in the United States!! Whether been in business for 5-10 years, start ups or decided to switch gears due to being home bound because of the COVID pandemic WE APPLAUD YOU for Women's History Month.

In n 2019 and early 2020, conversations relating to workplace sexual harassment dominated the public discourse. In fact, a 2019 study from the U.C. San Diego Center on Gender Equity and Health reported that 38 percent of women indicated that they had experienced sexual harassment at work.
And, since the arrival of COVID-19, new conversations relating to women in the workplace have emerged, mostly because of the disproportionate ways the pandemic has impacted working women. According to the National Women’s Law Center, in September 2021, women left the workforce at a rate four times higher than their male counterparts.
These realities necessitate the reimagining of the future of work and workforce development. This discussion will be the first in a series by which the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce will uplift the voices of women as we strive for more equitable work environments across New Jersey.

SBA Elevates Women-Owned Small Businesses
Did you know that just three decades ago, women were still required to have a male cosigner on a loan?
While women business owners still face some barriers and challenges, tremendous inroads have been made in the struggle for equal rights and access to opportunity. The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is proud to have played a role in supporting women entrepreneurs and helping to enable women-owned businesses to grow at twice the rate of all businesses nationwide.
